Winter Shipping

Hello,
I am looking to get a panther chameleon in the coming month, but I am concerned about shipping during the winter months. I live in the northeast and am concerned about potential weather issues. I would ask to pick up at the facility and not have him delivered to my place. Does anyone have any experience/tips with getting a Cham in the winter?
Thanks!

normally they come in a box, in a box. And with a hand warmer that warms for 48 hours. They dont need air holes, and the warmer is in the ouside box, so its not going to reduce the oxygen to the inner box, and the whole thing is card board so lots of oxygen mixing going on anyway
