Window Tint for Karen the Carpet Chameleon?

Hi friends!

My carpet chameleon Karen is being a real…Karen! Jk she’s pretty sweet and so are most Karen’s I know!
We’ve had to move her enclosure to a more trafficked area of our living space due to baby no. 2 needing the room Karen was in, my husband is not about to share space with Karen and it’s been 2 days, needless to say Karen is grey and too shy for this much exposure. I just bought another plant for her today, she has 5 in her bioactive enclosure already so I know it’s not a lack of hiding places, she just really feels exposed.

Has anyone tried using the one-way window film/tint for their Cham? Anyone tried for a carpet chameleon before?
Thanks for the input everyone!

If it reflects this could cause far too much stress. What kind of cage set up is she in can you post a picture?
This would also be my concern.

Chams detest change. It's only been 2 days. Change in surroundings as well as the view. Not only did the view outside her cage change, you also added new plants. She's reacting. Adjusting to the change will take time. You might try attaching panels of window screen over the sides of the cage that face the room's activity. Offset the mesh on each layer a little bit. Along with the added plants, it might be just enough to "buffer" what she can see, so she feels less exposed to view. Some people also attach a piece of cheesecloth over those sides too. You could dye it, so it doesn't stick out like a white sore thumb!

How about some wax paper. It lets light through, but obstructs the view. Plus odds are its only temporary. You could even put a big plant in front of the cage as a permanent solution. I used to drape fake vines on the outside like i was Camouflaging a tank if i had a couple of extended family members giving each other too much chin music.
