Will I have to break my rule?

I have a rule against purchasing a WC chameleon as I only keep them as pets and have no need to supplement the genes of a breeding population.

That said, I am strongly considering (its gonna happen) getting a pygmy or two and was wondering if I will have to break my no WC rule? Any advice is welcome I am hoping with a little patience I may not have to compromise.

I caught a large mantis a few months back and set up a terrarium for it next to my TV. I really like having to look at in that spot and was thinking pygmies would be perfect and the mantis passes.

Tell yourself the w/c are all ready here. You did nothing to impact that. And you will most likely never get cb pgymy's. Give in just this once - but it is a slippery slope.

Look around Pygmy threads and you may find a breeder, I have but I don't want to share who it is.

Are they that hard to come by? The reptile store where I get my feeders had some last time I was there.

Check around and you might be able to find CB. In the past I've seen them in the classifieds here and there use to be a couple of breeders south of me that use to post pictures here on CF.

There is a thread in this forum today from a guy that just hatched 15 bearded Pygmys. c81kennedy is his name. Maybe those are different than what you are looking for.

Just go to reptile pets direct eebsite and you can buy baby pgmys there witch I am pretty sure are cb

have hope, I got a couple of cb pygmys recently and I'm working on breeding them so there are people out there trying to do it!
