Nope. The little "hairs" are irritants, little needle like things. At best the cham will try one, and severely dislike it, and never have another, and at worse, it could cause severe irritation, and become infected...

True. Had a veild cham that ate one and turned black with white spots. He never ate any other kind of worm.:(
 
I believe one would have to breed a few generations of earthworms for them to be safe, and parasite free. Also, fed on some sort of special medium. As they eat dirt and such, are found in the ground, and have a slimyness to them, Ive never bothered. Just seemed too unatural for the chameleon.

I swear I remember sandrachameleon saying they could be fed though, if the parasites were bred out of them and such...
