Will a basking lamp and reptisun 5.0 keep my umbrella plants alive

I was wondering if i need other lighting inorder to keep my Umbrella plants and other plants alive? Do i need another light just for my live plants to thrive?

im using that lamp setup to and every plant
stays alive but that is in a glass en clousure ;-)

I use 6500K lights for plants as that is what I was told I needed and my Ficus plants thrive in it.

You may be alright, but if you notice the plant struggling I would use a 6500k as well. The plant wont benefit from the UV bulb, but if there is some natural light in the room it might do O.K.

I have had trouble over the long run keeping umbrella plants alive without a supplemental plant light (6500k flourescent). The plant bulb adds a nice light to the cage and brightens everything up, in addition to keeping your plant healthy. I think it is a no brainer addition if you have the cash.
