Why Won't She Sleep?!

I have already crossed the bridge of needing to lay eggs, and I recently posted a picture of her and everyone said my female veiled doesn't even have her adult colors (which is weird, because she is over 16 months old) nor her receptive colors. She just has random nights when she just paces around at the top and sides of her cage (with her pajamas on), and then she eventually falls asleep in the most random spot, like the roof of the cage. I thought I knew chameleons, but she is proving to be a difficult little puzzle. Does anyone have any idea on how to get her to sleep other than complete darkness?? I have had no reason to believe she is pregnant, but if I need to post more pictures I will. I have tried so many things! Any ideas???

Do you not have her in complete darkness? The comment about it was confusing.

I have her in 100% darkness, no light from anywhere. It usually happens when she has been active. I caught her eating a leaf as the lights went out, and she was wandering around when I walked into the room some time later. If she is just basking or something when I turn the lights out, she goes to sleep just fine.

Maybe half an hour, tops. It is usually around minutes, with breaks. By break, I mean she stops pacing for a few minutes and then keeps going as if she doesn't like the spot she chose.

I have had her since February 2nd, 2017. I will try that. I usually turn her lights off at around 6 p.m. because we get up early, at around 5:30 a.m., and I wanted to make sure she is getting enough sleep. Either way, whenever her lights are off I close the windows so it is completely dark, and she usually sleeps. My night time temps are probably from the mid 60s-low 70s. Her basking temp during the day is probably from the mid to high 70s, but I am buying a new bulb soon so that might change a bit.
