i have a dripper i mist like 5 times a day almost too much cuz i can see small puddles at the bottom of the cage yet she never wants to drink unless she engulfs herself like she did last week she does it evertime

What color is her urate? If it is yellowish or orangish she is not drinking enough. If it is white or slightly yellowish she may be fine. My female does not drink all the time but when she does it is a lot.

its like half white half brown so yeh like 2 weeks it was orange pinkish before she engorged herself

My Jackson's doesn't like to drink water either. It is a constant battle. I solve it by feeding him lots of hornworms. Jackson's can be really difficult with picky eating and drinking.

amen to that lool she is very difficult but i wont give her up she my stubborn lil girl shhh don't tell her this but i secretly wanted a veiled first lol

It may be the way your doing it.
Some tips to try are ...Use warm water. spray horizontally against a favored mesh area and have the water collect there. Use a fine mist , spray her and mist everything around her first. Then slowly hold it near her mouth and sprits right on her lose. lightly have it collect.
If you are just lightly hitting her and then doing it again later, that isnt enough. Pretty much itll take a minute or two of just spraying and wetting the cham until its comfortable to drink. its like they need time to get used to it. then another couple minutes of drink time. So a good 5 to 10 minute spray is a must.

I have a mistking, a dripper and i still catch myself hand misting my jacksons. :(

Many chams wont drink water with you standing there watching them.

Just mist regularly, keep your dripper going, and watch the urates.

as long as the urates are white.. hes drinking.
