I've got bunches of silkworm eggs. Usually for me a group of eggs laid the same time will hatch all around the same time. But recently, over the last couple months, Ive got groups of eggs hatching one here, one there, two the next day, none for a few days, then one or two more....
Ive not changed anything that I can think of, except of course the season is changing so the room is a bit cooler (down to 68F/20C) and not quite reaching the same daytime ambient highs (76F / 24C). But last winter I didnt have this issue so I doubt that's the problem.
Its happening equally with those batches that were refridgerated and those that werent.
Anything I can do to encourage the rest of the eggs to all hatch near at once and sooner rather than later?
