why is my cham staying in the shade all day

once i turned on my chams light he stayed in the same place on the vine under the plant which is the same place he went to sleep that night but he only moved to eat a cricket and went back to his place!!!!!!! please give me an idea on why he didnt move most of the day.

no his cage is about 85 to 90 degrees like its supposed to be and he gets good sleep every night
