Why is my 3 month old cham biting wood?

Hi everyone, i just brought home my cham. Misted the enclosure (Watched him drink the water off the leaves so that’s good), put some gutloaded feeders in her feeder cup but she seems to be enjoying biting the hibiscus tree wood? ?

is this something to worry about or is it normal?

Lol normal for panthers. They taste their surroundings. you will find him licking branches as well. They will also bite at them.

Cool! He hasn’t been eating either he looks at the crickets and discoids but no eating lol

Very normal the first few days for them not to eat... Make sure the feeders are size appropriate for him and that he can easily get to them.
