NO prescription required for Silvadene in the US

It used to be a "prescription only" medication here in the USA.
As soon as I heard that it is available over the counter, I bought some through Amazon.
Iis used by vets on reptiles externally.
It is 1% Silver Sulfadiazine Cream and is antibacterial, antifungal, is effective against some yeasts and as a topical burn cream.
Silvadene is one brand name and Thermazene is another.
