why are some crickets really dark

i keep seeing a few very dark crickets why i dont understand why a few crickets turn almost a black color is their a reason for this

Cool temps, and dehydration are the usual suspects.

I find some will go darker before a molt.

I kinda figured in had to do with Sex and Age but dont qoute me on that... <---- Im getting that Senor member ship if it kills me

so then should i worry about it should i try to take step to fix it is it okay to feed chomper those crickets thank you for your help

If the cricket appears to be healthy, (moving around okay, no visible signs of disease) then I would think okay to feed. Check belly, is it light colored and round, or soft and swarthy.
