why are pygmys so hard

i know pygmy chameleons are supposed to be not for beginners, and btw im not planning on getting any anytime soon, but I am just curious why they are supposed to be so hard to keep. like, for example, dart frogs have very similar care, and are not considered "hard" at all. is it one of these things like how chameleons are supposed to be really advanced, even though thats not what ive experienced, or is there something more im missing?
im just wondering is all, any input would be appreciated!

From what I know, it's because they're not usually captive bred. So you are now dealing with the added complications that come with a WC animal, and little guidance on how to take care them since they are not commonly kept.
Ok, thanks. I just was wondering cause it wasn’t making very much sense.
