Who wrote this????

That is really good if there are chameleons in every continent except Antarctica. :D
And wow! I didn't know that every Panther can be blue if they wish. :p

"A lot of people are led to believe that chameleons change color to blend in with their surroundings but that isn't true they are born with a coloration to blend in with their environment, thats why most chameleons are green to blend in with the leaves high in the canopy of a tree where they live."

...and as stated, chameleons are colored the way they are due to their environment, as seen in the first example, a very rare Kilauea lava chameleon. You should see it when it gets brighter and wants to scare off intruders. (No, don't worry, they do not breath fire in captivity.)

I wonder if a kid wrote this as an assignment for school.

That's what it looks like..

Looks like they just used pretty much every stereotypical chameleon "fact" rather than avoiding the bad ones, lol.

I feel bad for whoever uses this as their care guide or full knowledge of chams.

I kind of enjoyed reading through it. I didn't know that "A Panther chameleon is normally blue...". Or that there are some chameleons small enough to climb on your finger tips, as in the photo of the new, toy pygmy veiled variety (my name not theirs).:D

If it was a kid (which is what I thought too) he/she doesn't read well cause the Site in the bibliography said most not all chameleons lay eggs for one example. I'm worried that newbies reading this will think it's true too.
