It's only "eating like a chameleon" if you get to stand back a bit and shoot your tongue out at it (I guess the restaurant doesn't say you *can't*...)

I would - if only I hadn't gone vegetarian. Darn! (I find being vegetarian also lets me out of partaking in the Christmas lutefisk.)

FOOD for thought......

At one of the local reptile shows there were chocolate covered crickets...if you ate one you got a pin/badge saying that you had done it.

I know someone who eats insects at a side-show.

When I was a kid I ate a chocolate covered bee...thought it was a "neat" thing to do way back then.

I'll bet we have all eaten insects in some of the food products we have eaten...they can be hidden inside things like green beans, pea pods, etc. and I bet there have been insect eggs in some of the things we have eaten too.

Insects are still eaten in some countries....and if you were stranded out in the wilderness they might help you to survive...as long as you know which ones to eat!

Here's some information....and some RECIPES...
