Who has AIM 6.9?

Hello everyone i have AIM 6.9 but it wont let me message anyone. Does this happen to you? Now im talking on AIM Pro but it looks horrible and its all business things. I don't like it. I want my old AIM back lol I thought i can call AIM customer service but these dumb people shut down their phone line

Try Pidgin.

I know the error you speak of. It is usually initiated because you are logging in from 2 different locations, then the AIM servers get confused if you are on or off.
Try using another client, such as pidgin, or download the old school aim for windows 98, it should run just fine on all machines.

hmm okay i just did the meebo thing so that works but now im goign to do what you said

Looks like if i get off aim pro and go on 6.9 it still doesn't work ugh i may consider pidgin thanks for the info guys

Trillian is pretty great. Haven't fired it up in about 2 years, but I had no problems with it.

ditto the Trillian. only I've had issues with people trying to file transfer from other messengers like yahoo. Yahoo does that picture sharing crap and trillian doesn't like it I guess.
