Personally to me that feels EXTREMELY stressful to that cham... Regardless of how tight the grip is.. That's just me though I can't speak generally about it
And, we don't really know the whole situation. To me, that sort of overhand grab is something to be saved for a serious need (like, it's time to go to the vets or, the fire is on the way and we're leaving now) but there may be a reason he felt the chameleon needed a more secure hold at that point.

It isnt... The care of animals deplorable... The people are nice but dont know how to take care of their animals.. I saw like 3 or 4 adult male panthers in a 12x12x24 (what it looks like) cage.. It is a shame
