White things

ok you start to get sick you get snot crusting around your nose correct? the thing is not to let this get ozzy, or runny! CalZoo at 1-800-473-7845 in CA,USA will help diagnose your animals for simple remedies unless they recommend a vet. I bought my cham from a local store when he was crusty they said it was shedding, but it stayed with him for 2 weeks, and i started to worry after a few days. I raised his normal tank temp not basking temp to about 5-10F more, gave him more vitamins, and plenty of fresh air! After he got better about 3-4 days from when i started i took him out sat him on my shoulder, and cleaned his cage out completely. he hasnt been sick since thank god!

I don't know if anyone's said this yet but I'm pretty sure apple has some vitamin in it that (too much of it) is bad for your cham.

Just a thought as I did not read if you figured it out yet. Could it be the start of a shed. My female veiled gets 2 white nostrils before she begins to shed, they are then gone when the shed is done. If not im sure you will get to the bottom of it with the help of the people on this forum. Good luck.
