White powder around the nostrils

My chameleon occasionally has white powder around her nostrils. When I researched this I found that it could possibly be excess calcium that she is excreting which makes sense (to me at least). I'm not too sure if this is completely accurate so wanted another opinion.

I began by dusting all of my chameleons food every day however since she started excreting this from her nose I have been doing it less regularly (it's only been 4 days since I stopped doing it daily). I wasn't sure if this was a sign of me giving her too much calcium which is why I eased up on the volume that I gave her.

Not sure if this was the correct idea or if I should simply ignore the powder and continue to dust all of her food, every day?

It's recommended that you dust at most feedings with a phosphorous - free calcium powder. The white stuff is not calcium..so don't stop dusting with it...just don't make your insects look like ghosts.
