i have eggs that were lay one week ago and they seemed to be doing perfect but when i opened up the rubber-made container that i have pierced with holes around the side for ventilation today i noticed several of the eggs started growing white mold. i believe this is because too much humidity am i right and what should i do with the eggs that have the mold on them. i have opened the lid to let it air out for the day. first clutch of eggs ive ever had dont know what to do

when they mold over this early in incubation its usually because the eggs are infertile, I have found infertile eggs begin molding over 1-2 weeks after being layed.

Hey,

Once a female lays her eggs, even if she has been in contact with a male, some eggs may be infertile, thus becoming dark yellow and developing white mold, do not throw dark yellow eggs away until they have started to mold.
