I have an 8 month old Veiled chameleon and he has had a white cask for a couple of months. I asked around and they told me that maybe he was shedding and that i should wait but he already shed and it is still the same. it looks whiteish/ grayish. it still has color but it looks faded. does anyone know why this could be? anything would help.
Thank you!

It could possibly be a burn if its on the cask, how close can your chameleon get to the basking light? Burnt casks are pretty common, a pic would be alot of help :D

The basking light is not very close to him. at least not close enough to burn i think. heres a picture

Beautiful veiled chameleon. Try getting more pics at different angles so we can get a better idea of what you are talking about. I don't see any white.

From that image, he looks fine. The white is just his choice to put in the casque area. It will get darker as he ages.

Thank you all for your responses! i appreciate it :)
I was just wondering because i have a female, and the color on her head doesnt change like that.

Well, like the others members said, don't worry too much about its head coloration, how is his behavior? Does he eat as usual, is he active?

yea hes very active and eats well. and drinks a lot of water. everything else is normal.
