Which plant is best?

Which live plant on lllreptiles is best a 3 month old male panther chameleon? One that would last him for a few months?

I really like the Pothos it seems to hold the water for a long time and also does quite well inside. The Ficus and Schefflera also do great indoors. I normally buy plants at Lowes or Home Depot.

Pothos! I also got a Corn Plant. She loves that thing.

The above mentioned plants are great, especially pothos. It's a seriously tough plant and you can hang it so the vines drape down or let it climb upwards from the bottom.

Hibiscus is another great tree/shrub for chams, but they are more delicate than schefflera or ficus in my experience. You would probably want to get 2 and switch them every so often. Honestly this is a good idea for any plant since they will be climbed and nibbled on.

Same here,my home depot and lowes have really good selections often for my guys habitat. Actually,all my live plants are from both of them now that I think on it .

Any of the above mentioned plants would be good for your cham./enclosure. There's a list of safe plants on this site, but stick with the common species and you can't go wrong. Pathos, Schefflerra, ficus benjamina and hibiscus are all I've tried. Hibiscus are a bit finicky, but see what you can do and go from there. I love my Schefflerra. It's tough and doesn't need to be changed out that often. It grows like a weed and is traded out with the ficus on a 3-4 mo. rotation.
