Which fixture would be best for my cham?

The cage I got for my future chameleon is 16x16x20. I got a 15 inch uvb bulb so it would fit, but am unable to find a fixture. Would an 18 inch be okay to use if it hangs over the sides a little bit? What about the new compact coil bulbs? It seems I heard that they used to pose a problem, but now they are ok. Is this true? This will complete my setup, and I'm wanting everything to be just right! Thanks!

I use both types of fixtures, if the fixture hangs over the cage a little it's not a problem. It's cosmetic only.
