Which breed should I get?

Hello all (newbie here), I have recently made the decision to purchase a chameleon, I have been draining my bank account for the past week or so in preparation. The enclosure I ordered is the exo-terra 18x18x18 metal screened terrarium. I realize this is relatively small so I'm not sure if I should get a baby chameleon and then upgrade as it grows or maybe just go with an overall smaller breed. Pygmy chameleons are cute but they are so tiny!! I'm looking to get something captive bred, hardy, and that would ideally max out at 4-5 inches. This will be my first chameleon. Suggestions?

18X18X18 is good for a baby-but most will outgrow it by 4 months of age. Many of the "smaller" species are more suited for advanced keepers. Flapnecks might be a good way to go but you are still looking at a 18X18X36 cage in the future. Pygmies are good in glass tanks not screened cages. Veileds are most recommended to start out with-but male Veileds are good in 24X24X48 or larger when full grown. Can you give us a run down of the supplies you have purchased and we can help you out with any missing items.
