where to put panther cage

I am getting a 3 month old panther male. Should i put the cage where the temp goes fom 69 to 80 degrees ambient temp. Area has windows and heat/ac vent. Or should i put it in my basement. Ambient temp 63 to 66 degrees all year with higher humidity and no vents no windows.

I would say in the area with windows if it's not like a busy street or road. Vents are nor recomended, but if they're far away from the cage, it's perfectly fine.
The basement would be good, but it might not have natural sunlight coming in, which looks kinda depressing imo.
