Where to buy silvadene cream 1% in the U.S.?

Just noticed a burnt on my chameleon, I live in Los Angeles and apparently I need prescription to buy silvadene. Help!!?

Sorry to hear that your chameleon got a burn. I always get my Silver Sulfadiazine Cream from my vet. You have an excellent chameleon vet in the LA area. Dr. Tom Greek.

When I needed silvadene for my road rash, It cost $3,000 a tube and I needed 15 tubes...
Luckily my insurance kicked in and I only payed $30 for all 15 tubes!
I still have a partial tube left if your in dyer need I'm located in South Orange County.

This has to be something else. Silvadene is in the $4 formulary in most pharmacies. It is inexpensive

I think you can only get it from a vet or with a script from a vet
