I've been reading about gutloading and there's some pretty interesting ingredients.. where would i buy bee pollen, alfalfa powder, kelp powder ?? Alfalfa is plentiful around here.. but fresh, not powdered. lol

and if you notice, health concsious and fittness fanatics sorta go hand in hand with gutloading bugs for your reptile

so if you are a bodybuilder and a cham keeper, it works just fine lol:D

Ok, thanks again! I'll go look and see what they have in store. 1 more thing.. Instead of powdered alfalfa in the dry ingredients, can I use fresh in the wet?

fresh is always better than dry, in my opinion... Dry gutload last longer.. but always use fresh when you have an opportunity to do so

nothing wrong with using fresh alfalfa! :) and its not hard to harvest and dry, if you want to include in your dry gutload as well :)
Places that sell feed for cows, sheep, horses will often have pure dried shredded alfalfa pellets or hay.

Kelp powder and bee pollen are found in health food stores (at a high price) and online (lower price). For me, I am lucky and can buy locally as both are produced/harvested in my area.
those horse feed places sometimes sell powdered bull kelp in bulk to add to feed. Some nursaries will also sell kelp powder as a soil additive.
If you cant find bull kelp, look for spirulina instead.
even nori sheets are okay (the dried roasted seaweed used for sushi maki)
