Where to buy crickets...

Im on the East Coast of Florida and I am just curious where the best pale is for crickets now? I used to order from Lucky Lure but wow their prices have skyrocketed! Any other suggestions?

Jan do you use Lucky Lures own gutload formula or something else?

I was always very happy with them, but I just noticed the $21 a box now. I guess you get what you pay for.

I only buy 500 crickets at the time because I only have 2 chameleons but my daughter buys thousands and gets free shipping......she has allot of chams. I pay $17.00 and buy small ones and they last me all month so that's not bad.

I also use www.coastalsilkworms.com in Jacksonville for all my worms other than supers.

Thanks for the heads up on this, I spoke to Mike today and he was very nice. $16 shipped so 5 bucks cheaper then anyone else I could find.

I still buy my crickets at petsmart, 50-100 at a time. Pretty easy for me since they're only feeding one cham.

Can only imagine cleaning the foul mess 1000 crickets would produce .

Yeah but you are paying 15cents per cricket! the others are getting 1-3cents per cricket

Of course, not putting it down at all. If I had more than a couple things to feed I'd do it too. But honestly it would be a waste for me since it would take my cham forever to consume even 500 crickets, and alot would die off...although i'm not even sure how long crickets live so maybe it would still be worth it.

I buy all my crickets from Ghann. They are great and if you are buying lots of crickets they have a breeder program that is better than anything else I have seen. I live in Montana and they get my crickets here in 100 or -20 temps.

See here is my dilemma, i got a shipment of Ghanns GREAT program in, i am not exaggerating when i say there wasnt even one dead cricket. Also the boxes of 1,000 probably had close to 2,500-3,000. The only thing is i payed 40 bux for 5,000 crickets (which is fine) but then had to pay 35 bux for shipping which just killed me. So i am currently looking for a good price like ghanns but some place close.
