i agree with jannb.i made the mistake of getting two from a pet shop and unfortunately lost them both.Mista i got from a breeder and he is flourishing

I got my veiled from a reptile show. She was very healthy. You do need to talk to the breeder before you buy, of course. I have gone to reptile shows and have talked to breeders that know nothing about the reptiles they are offering while others are experts on the reptiles they have. Just find one who knows what they are talking about. Also before most shows you can go to their website and find a vendor list and contacts any of the vendor that are attending.
