I live in the Tampa Bay area in FL, and am looking for some more food sources other than crickets which are sold at most of the pets stores in the area, does anyone have any good ideas as to where I could purchase different foods?

Look online, there are tons of feeders offered by the site's sponsors and it's generally not terribly expensive. Crickets are cheaper, even with shipping!

Lazy H bait sells crickets deleivered to this area for $14.00/1000, they also sell Superworms for the same price. Coastal Silkworms sells hornworms and silkworms.

Thanks! I think i was viewing the link in your sig to see what kind of collection you had earlier.

We have several four month old panthers now. They are eating crix, silks, roach nymphs, and sometimes mini mealworms. We like the roaches the best because we can easily breed them and they are super easy to gutload! We use lazy h for crix, they ship all the way out here to Missouri at the cheapest price I have found. Silks we get from coastal. And the minis from minimealworms.com

Where do you get your roaches from? I would like to try those, as he isnt showing much interest in worms.

I originally bought several adult roaches at a reptile show, and started breeding them on my own. Now we have several thousand. I am not sure where to get them where you are, I tried shipping them to Florida before and that didnt go so well.

The Lazy H place doesnt have a website, you have to call. (863) 675-3109

feeders

Just did an order of crix and worms from Josh's...pretty reasonable for crix and waxworms. 500 crix for 8$ 250 waxworms for 8$ Shipping was just as much.....

I am looking to start a roach colony if anyone has some spare. Just let me know. Thanks a lot in advance!
