When will my yemen lay her eggs.

yeah were leaving them alone..we have visual bariers up between the cages. outside of misting and feeding them..we dont bother them.

In the last 2 days i can now she the eggs in her ,they are starting to bulge just above her back legs.Cant really get a good pic of her at the mo because she has really turned evil against me.
She will not come out of her bushes and will not hand feed any more,

Is this a good sign.

my female yemen stopped eating 3-4 days before she layed 67 eggs,so shouldnt be long now mate.
good luck

Good luck!

Is the cage blocked off so that she can NOT see you?

I used a 5 gallon bucket filled with peet moss and play sand and my female was digging as soon as she hit the dirt.

She was trying to dig in her cage plant... but she would see me and run back up to her basking spot... So I got her the bucket setup, placed her inside and BAM she was digging as soon as I was "gone". I watched with a mirror and took some pics and vids. she dug for about 5-6 hours straight.

I think your female might have laid her eggs... remove the bin and sift through it.. it won't hurt to be sure she didn't lay already. If you don't find anything.. make sure its moist enough and be SURE she can't see people or animals outside of her cage. and give it some more time.

My yemen has still not laid her yet but her weight has now dropped and she does not look bubbly in her back end as she did 2-3 weeks ago.
Do yemen envelope there eggs back into there bodies or not.
I checked everwhere in her enclosure and there are definatly no eggs there.

Do you by chance have a plant she could have dug in? Could she have laid iin her bin and covered them all up again?

my female yemen laid her 67 eggs through the night and when i got up she had coverd them all up ,so i would check everywhere mate
good luck with finding them.

I was going to suggest the same thing....

My female was digging in her plant pot...

It was kinda funny cause she would dig dig dig dig and then see me and quickly run up to the top of the cage like 'ooooooh i wasn't doing anything......'. I made a laying bucket out of a 5gallon bucket.. she dug asap and was done in 6-7 hours.

She only has a bucket in with her that she could lay any eggs in and that is empty.I check it all the time but nothing at all.

How often do you look at her? You might be stressing her by staring at her all the time, if you do.

Wingsy, did your female ever lay her eggs?? i have been following the thread and it just stops! My female is near to laying too and i know how anxious this time is.
