When will chameleon slow down?

I just got my chameleon a few months ago and the shop said he was 2.5 years old and I know that pretty old for a chameleon and eventually he will start to slow down im just wonder when i should expect him to start slowing down?

at 2.5 years he is fully mature and won't be growing any more and i doubt he'll get any faster.... how fast they are is probably just genetics I guess. As he ages he probably will become slower and more sluggish though.

I’m gonna guess never! Lol At 2 1/2, he isn’t really all that old. With proper care he can live up to and hopefully beyond another 5 years. As we are always learning better husbandry and incorporating it into our care, I’m optimistic that we will be extending their lifespans beyond what they have been.

His highest temp is around 82 and I feed him 3 gutloaded crickets every other day

Under proper conditions, I have seen them go 10+ years. Unfortunately, I think the US averageis something really low.

Beman is fast approaching 2.5 and it has not slowed down his woman hunt in the slightest. Really crazy that I have already had him 2 years the end of this month.
