when to replace a 10.0 uvb tube?

I'm using a repti glo 10.0 tube for my females repti breeze xl cage. Would the 6 month rule to replace still apply when it's a stronger bulb than the 5.0? It's almost at that 6 month mark and I was wondering if I could maybe get another month or so out of it?

The only way to know for sure is to use a Solarmeter and measure the UV output. Otherwise I would stick to a 6 month replacement schedule.

I know unfortunately I couldn't afford one at the moment lol. For instance if after 6 months a 5.0 drops to 4%, then after 6 months with a 10.0 I wouldn't imagine it would drop even to 5%. But I don't have a solar meter so I can't check it I wonder if anyone has tested could chime in?

I'll replace tomorrow then
