when to move my veiled?

Was wondering if somebody could help me. I have a male veiled chameleon who is currently about 6 inches head to end of tail when its completely straight. He is in an 18 square inch Viv. He is about 4 months old. When do you thi k I would need to move him into his new reptibreeze? Its 2ft by 4ft?
