When to expect first shed?

I have a baby rudis about 4-5 months old. He has yet to shed and I'm wondering when should i expect that to happen? When i received him he was malnourished and not in great shape. It's been about a month since I've had him and I've started to see him grow and gain some stripes.

By 6-8 months they will stop "poofing" and start shedding in stages every 60 days. Then by 18 months shedding will drop ALOT. My male hasnt shed his head in 18 months (he is about to) and he is 3.5 years old.
