It can be hard to know how often you should be taking your chameleon to the vet. I'd first recommend getting a fecal test for any new chameleon to check for parasites. Otherwise you can take your chameleon to the vet as needed. Some health concerns worthy of a vet visit would be: eye issues, inability to climb, lack of appetite, injured tongues, injured limbs, trouble breathing, etc.
