When is it a emergency??

My veiled baby have just a light yellow color in its urine. Can barely see it, mostly white.

But she looks soooo dry in her skin :/ And have never seen her drink or even being close to the dripping spot where my dripper is placed.

I got really high humidity, if I mist twice a day the humidity reaches 85% after mist and decreases to about 60-70% at lowest between mist.

Will the high humidity help her being hydrated or do I need to start a shower treatment?

Wait to see if the next urate is white. Every once in a while a yellow urate is nothing to really worry about. If she always has yellow urates she needs more water opportunities/longer misting. Its when it is orange there is a big problem. Some chameleons are shy drinkers and will only drink when there is no one around. Just be sure to give her plenty of alone time after misting to drink.

Dry looking skin might mean she is going to shed soon. Post pics if you are worried.

Well... another problem is that she takes her dump and hides it... I might find it as deep in the ficus tree as I can get.. and by the time I find it is already dry.

But will she like, get hydrated just by the high humidity? like she is getting water from the air with no effort from her self?

She cannot absorb water through the air.

You need to up mistings.

Sometimes, they hold the poops for a while, so the urate tends to dry out some.

No mealworms do not count. You need to feed a soft bodied worms, wax worms, butter worm, horn worms and silk worms. I should mention that you should not feed any one of these feeders on their own, a well balanced diet and long misting sessions will help your chameleon hydrate properly

okey, thank you very much! But another question about the misting! Shall I really mist/spray constantly for 3-5 min? I use to just spray like ten times all over the plants.

If i would to be spraying constantly for 5 mins the cage will be flooded... :/
