Hi all, its been about 4 days since my tamatave ate, followed by another 3 days with a break in between where he ate for two days. today he hissed at me so me and my OCD  I popped a silkworm in his mouth and he ate it. He seems to have something going on with his mouth, ive been treating it with reptaid and he has nothing wrong inside his mouth. heres a pic of him from last week.

Thanks in advance, and PLEASE dont give me the how to ask for help form. I know what im doing and everything in his cage is just fine;)

He looks very healthy other than the lip. Is there any swelling or scab material on the inside of the area that you circled. It could be a small infection caused by a variety of things, or even as simple as the sharp part of a cricket leg piercing the the inside of the lip.
The area of the inside of the lip is discolored slightly, possibly a small scab. Sometimes these can correct themselves or if it is an infection, he may need some antibiotics. There doesn't appear to be any major swelling, so I doubt there is any significant build up of puss under the lip.
He may not be eating because the are may be sore.

he looks pretty fat. How much does he eat? IF over fed, often, they may go off feed for a few days or weeks at a time. May be unrelated to mouth infection, if there is one.

he normally eats 5 crix every other day, would reptaid help correct this? he DID have a sharp cricket piece in his mouth but i removed it a few weeks ago.

Not sure if the Reptaid would work on that. You may want to try a topical oinment such as betadine.
Neosporin would work wonders , but not sure if it would be ok to put in his mouth.

I'm just trying to figure out what is causing the lip to be the way it is. Is there a small scab or is it just swelling.

I had a vet prescribe it years ago. If you dab it on, it should be ok. You wouldn't want him swallowing any drops of it. If you point his head in the downward position and apply it, any mistakes of putting too much on it, will run out of his mouth.
