I have a 4 month old Jackson Chameleon who still has his brownish colour. Someone else made a similar post but I thought I'd ask specifically for jackson chameleons. When do Jackson Chameleons generally get their green colour?
They keep turning greener for the first year pretty much - at about 5-6 months mine started shedding and growing with a bit of a spurt - and after each shed she was more green- males will turn more green than females.
Mine always went more green when I had him out, but the green didn't stay until he was around 6 months. Check out my thread of growth pics that I posted. https://www.chameleonforums.com/monty-jackson-first-year-photos-93405/ I took a pic of mine every month on roughly the same date throughout his first year.
