A nicely planted 20 gallon long is perfect for a 1.2 or 1.3 group.

I do not recommend putting a male with females. He may breed them to death. If you get a 20 gal and put a divider, I think that should suit them just fine.

thats julirs set up and i think it is an exoterra 12 x 12 x 18. It may be bigger though

Yep-that is a 12X12X18. I have kept pairs and trios in them with no problems. Oh-one problem-lots of babies! I have also had to remove those males that harass females!

hey julirs do u have problems with the eco earth in your 12 x 12 x18 growing small bugs... mine was growing little insects but i cant tell what they were... i had a couple of pigmies a while ago but i just cleaned my cage out... i used to keep the windows opening in my room but i think so small bugs came through the screen and went to the light over my exo terra and started living and breeding there...
