I recently got a new panther and i read all these different things about gutloading and i would like to just get a better clue on the best way. I bought a jar of this orange stuff that says it gives the crickets hydration as well as other nutrition. Im wondering is there something better?

Dont use that orange crap.

Gutloading is wat you do to feed your bugs.

you feed using fresh fruits and veggies, as well as other food items.

Sandrachameleon has lots of blogs on stuff to feed the bugs.

Fresh fruits and veggies for sure. How to gut load? Some will say to feed these nutritious foods to your crickets 3-4 hours before offering the chameleon the crickets. Others will say they provide these good foods to their crickets at all times, not just hours before feeding. I give my crix fresh oranges and mango's right now sprinkled with a powder gut load I buy from one of the site sponsors, Bruce Gilbraith at chameleons paradise. He makes it himself and the crix seem to love it. I change it out daily so I go with the always have it available for them path.

So, I just got my first LARGE batch of feeders, and now I get the gutloading with fruits and veggies thing.I didnt realize how much they consume and how quickly! I use both a dry mix of organic stuff that I bought, and a mix of fresh stuff. So far, everyone seems to be happy. The bugs eat like kings, and my cham eats them!

Here are 2 good blogs about gutloading and nutrition, including a link to Sandrachameleon's gutload blog

Congrats on your new Panther!
Hope you'll stick around the forums and learn as much as possible so your Panther has a long healthy life with you.
Here's a very basic care comparison of Panthers and Veileds

Here is a Veiled care sheet so if you look at the link above and consider those differences, you'll be good:
