I just have a screen as my floor and drainage tray under. If you’re not using substrate, most people just put a potted plant or tree down there.so i was looking at cages and i would rather not go bioactive, so what else could i put at the bottom of the cage ?
okay thanks, and couldn't i put felt down there or no ?I just have a screen as my floor and drainage tray under. If you’re not using substrate, most people just put a potted plant or tree down there.

Can I ask you if you have your cage raised off the floor and if so, with what? I’m having trouble finding something at least 25x25 but not too much bigger to fit the drainage tray.dragon strand drainage tray. I like the drip easy... https://dragonstrand.com/alternative-cage-manufaturers/
I bought a cabinet that I liked to go under it and house all my devices and cords and then bought plywood larger then the top to support the pan and cage. I painted it to match the cabinet and go on top of it for a larger surface area... LOL I could not find any cabinets that would hold mine since it is 30 wide 24 deep and 48 high. Then you account for the tray and well I totally understand the issue. Can I ask you if you have your cage raised off the floor and if so, with what?
