What's on her nose?

Well, I have noticed that this growth on Delilah's face is spreading towards her eye. This has been here for a while now, and I am getting it checked out after I get paid next Saturday. So if anyone could identify what this is.. that would be very helpful. more for the experienced keeper please.
Thanks,
Zac

P.S. She is grouchy too.

i have seen that before. i can not remember what it was referred to as, but the pictures of it were much larger. it had to be drained of pus and disinfected

Looks like it might be an abcess and if so it needs to be cleaned out and a culture and sensitivity test done to determine what antibiotic your chameleon should be put on.

Looks like an abscess - do a search to find a bunch of threads on this issue. The pictures look exactly the same as the one you posted. Here's a few:

It will need to be surgically opened, drained, and flushed by a vet who can then culture the junk to make sure it's being treated appropriately. Simply using antibiotics won't be enough because of where it is located, it needs to be cleaned out first. Poor Delilah :(

Thanks so much to both of you. I will be making her a vet appointment for sometime next week. How much does it generally cost?

Totally depends on the vet and their plan. With exotics especially it can vary widely between different vets. I would say be prepared to spend over $150. If it's less than that then it's a good day!

I have never been to this reptile vet yet.. This will be my first time. Their checkups are $30 and fecals are $15, so I hope they will be low.. :/

You need not only a good vet in this instance. But you also need a lab that handles exotics and cultures from exotics to be able to id the type of infection it is. It could be viral or it could be bacterial. If its viral, then its going to be much harder to treat. Bacterial infections are alot easier to treat and diagnos. Good luck with her.
