Teenager just prior to shed....

He has somewhat typical Veiled teenager colors and he has the opaque look they get right before a shed. It looks like he is going to have some nice orange colors as he matures for his highlights. And some nice yellows on his sides. At this age pay more attention to patterns than the color. He has a striking pattern. I think he is going to color up as a very beautiful macho male in about five months. I love his casque. It's opaque now due to the upcoming shed, but I love that green thread running through it. I think you have great things to look forward to with him!

Buttered toast? :D I was thinking 'woodland' or 'Forest' something...*shrugs* looks nice, my guys casque has the same green thread through it, it must be universal veiled male color? Cant wait to see how mine looks after the next slough (nearly 6 months old) :)
