what type of panther?

The one in the picture there is a pretty little Panther girl. Locale is nearly impossible to tell in the females. She is also old enough to judge by the tail base and lack of hemipene bulge.
I read through that thread-only Veileds (and maybe a few others) can be sexed by tarsal spurs on their back heels.

I sometimes look at that website but in my view I would stick to this site for the best cham advice as you have people who know there stuff contributing from all over the world. That website is a general forum for all reps and in my view too clicky lol.

Hiya, Im new here. Im from the UK and looking for a panther chameleon. I have one for sale near me, but the person doesnt know what type it is and cant get pics of the parents as it was from a wholesaler.

Can anyone have a look at these pics for me and have a guess at what type it is? Anyone know the sex?

Thanks alot.

Its a female panther chameleon, they did state that the locale was Nosey be, basically it means it originated from a small island called Nosey be just off the coast of Madagascar

Hi mate, I'm afraid to say he didn't make it:( The first few days he seemed to be doing ok then went pale and stopped eating and died in a space of 2 weeks. Daryl said he had lost many from that batch so offered to replace him. So on Saturday i travelled from Norwich to Daryls and collected a sub adult male sirama aged around 4-5 months who daryl had brought from Germany. I have seen a pic of it's father which Daryl took during his trip to Germany and wow he is stunning so hopefully he should turn out to be a stunner to. I was so tempted to take a male blue dimand and even now I keep thinking have I made the right choice:confused: I almost brought a female sirama too but my partner wouldn't let me but i guess that is a good thing as i should really get some experince behind me in keeping panthers before I think about breading. my other half acts as my sensible side lol

I will post pics when of the new chap when he has had time to settle in.

o, thanks for the email. I like your setup. I have yet to decide what vivs to go for and where to buy them. In fact do you know any good viv makers?
