Well sounds like I need to take a trip :)

In seriousness I am not sure what the export quotas are for either of these but IF a legally imported specimen can be found in the US it will be rare and is probably already spoken for by the importers buddies.

Certain people on the board (who I will not name) can definitely give a better idea of what if anything might be available in the US.

Be persistent and make friends with as many chameleon people as you can and you stand a decent chance of one day getting one.

Both 0, so any captives will (probably) be illegal. You can check export quota on http://www.cites.org/eng/resources/quotas/index.php

Thank you! I need to be sure to bookmark for later reference.

I did hear that that Madagascar has been considering allowing certain exports at very small numbers in the coming years. Not sure how true that is, I suppose it depends on their success of conservation activities.

Either way no exports means that you would have to find a captive population someone is maintaining and are willing to sell to you, or be patient and hope the wild population improves enough to allow export.

30 Furcifer campani legally made it into LA earlier this year. Chad from Tiki Tiki acquired some however is no going to sell any of his. As for the others it is a mystery why we have not seen them. The new quotas of Furcifer campani are extremely conservative and set at 250 specimens a year world wide.
