What to place as floor for bottom of cage?

I'm redoing my cage right now, cleaning everything out. It's a cage I built out of redwood and aluminum screen mesh, on the bottom of the cage is a piece of plexiglass. Should I just use paper towels on the bottom as they would be easy to change out?

I guess you could use paper towels or just nothing. Most member use nothing and it's easy to wipe clean.

Yeah, its best to keep it bare for easy clean up. if you dont like the plain look you can go to your local hardware store and pick up a couple pieces of vinyl tile and cut it to fit the bottom of your cage. It ads nice color and very easy to install as the back of the tile is sticky so all you do is cut it to the right size and put in place.

I put there a plastic film- it is very easy to keep clean.

Alright awesome, i'm just gonna use a the plexiglass i have at the bottom and leave it bare like you said. Thanks!
