Tomorrow I will be gone for the whole day from 8am-6pm. I do not have a Mister. What can I do to keep Humidity up along with water? I was planning on feeding him in the morning VERY good and by the time I come home another feeding.. Thanks for all feedback!

You may want to make 1 or 2 extra drippers out of some 2 liter bottles with a very small drip, that may help you out. I use a automated system so I other than that I dont know

if you have a humidifier hook that up..if not maybe like.. spray it really good and then just leave ice cubes on top of his cage (they wont last ALL day but it might extend it a bit)

or if you know someone who would be willing... just have them come mist him.

Try putting ice cubes in a cup with a pin hole in it so it drips. Put the cup away from the basking lamp. They'll melt more slowly if they are all together. As it's only one day, you could even put a wet cloth on the bottom of the cage. You'll want to wash that really well after you get home.

Umm your chameleon will be just fine for less than 12 hours. Mine are alone for that long, or longer nearly every day and they're happy as clams.

humidity for most chameleons doesn't matter too much. it just helps them maintain water in their body

Okay, don't agree with that since it also helps with skin condition and respiratory health and it's a major component to proper shedding. BUT if the humidity drops for a day it's not going to be a problem at all.

Ice is a poor choice to supply water! It is too cold! Use a dripper of some sort. If it is a healthy adult (not a montane species,) one day without misting (or even water for that matter) wont kill them. It's less than ideal, but not a problem as long as it isn't a regular thing.
