It would be easier to tell if you posted a larger picture instead of having to go by your avatar, but I would say he is a xantholophus. Those are by far the most common subspecies in captivity.

Typically about 8-10" total length at a year eventually reachying 12-13" at several years old (assuming good conditions, of course).
