What size?

I wanted to know what is the average size for a 4 month old female veiled chameleon? I purchased my little girl a couple of weeks ago, and do to the small siza of her, I assumed that she was only around a month old, she can't be more than 3 inches from head to tail, but when I found out that the pet stores could not sell sell chameleon under 3 months, so I decided to give a call to the store owner. He let me know that she is around 4 months now. I f she is this small now, how big was she when she was born?

Oh, pet stores can sell them under three months, you just shouldn't buy one under three months unless you have baby experience or are willing to take the risk.

There is no average size, they all grow at different rates according to genetics and how much they are fed. The more they eat, the faster they grow. That being said, a Cham that grows too fast can have problems later on/not live as long.
